For summer tours:
Closed-toed shoes
Wear comfortable clothing
Dress for the weather (i.e. rain jacket or layered clothing if needed)
For winter tours:
Thick winter socks
Long underwear
Ski pants or shell
Glove liners (full gloves won’t fit under zipline gloves)
Fleece or wool top
Ski jacket or shell
Face mask (if very cold)
Warm cap
Cell Phones or Cameras
You can bring your own camera or phone, but you can’t carry it in your hands because you’ll need your hands free for controlling the speed and to stop on the zipline. If you can carry it in a pocket that can be secured or in a very small bag, you can bring it with you. We don’t recommend big bags and do recommend leaving valuables at home/locked in the car.
Point Alta Vista Trail
The mile-long trestle bridge is re-decked as a public trail for biking, hiking, and dog walking. Its lookout point offers fantastic views of the Arkansas River, the Royal Gorge Bridge, and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
Royal Gorge Bridge & Park
Dare to walk America’s highest suspension bridge that crosses 965 feet above the Arkansas River. The park also offers gondolas, Skycoaster, climbing adventures and more.
Royal Gorge Route
You’ve soared above the Gorge, so now you can kick back and see its rugged canyon walls from the comfort of the Royal Gorge Route Railroad.
You’ll be just a stone’s throw away from the rustic, western-style Whitewater Bar & Grill. This family-friendly watering hole has everything you need to celebrate your epic outdoor adventure, from a beer garden, weekly specials and events (live music Saturdays!) to an expansive menu featuring delicious dishes. Or head to nearby Whitewater Rooftop Social and toast the day with handcrafted cocktails and delectable eats in a modern atmosphere.
