Is ziplining safe?

All adventure activities possess certain inherent risks. We have taken numerous steps to mitigate inherent risks. Our course was built by Bonsai Designs, Inc. and meets or exceeds the industry guidelines set by the Association for Challenge Course Technology. Our guides all complete an intensive training and certification program. You will be required to complete our “ground school” setting where you learn the basics of zip lining prior to actually zipping the course.

What should I wear?
  • Wear close-toed shoes such as hiking boots, tennis shoes or  sneakers
  • Wear comfortable clothing
  • Dress for the weather. We operate in rain, cold weather and snow. Wear a rain Jacket or ski Jacket if weather requires it.
  • No bulky rain ponchos - they can't be worn with our gear.

Can I bring a camera or cell phone?

Yes, You can take your own camera or your phone but you cannot carry it in your hands - as you need your hands to control the speed and stopping of the zipline. You can carry it in your pocket if it can be secured, or in a very small bag to take with you. We do not recommend big bags and recommend valuables (if you are worried about losing them) are locked in your car for safekeeping.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We run our tours rain or shine. However, the course will be closed if there is lightning in the vicinity. We will also close the course for extreme winds. Advance notice may not be possible. If we know in advance that we will be closed, we will try to notify you asap. If your tour is canceled due to weather, you may rebook for another time, or we will refund the purchase price of your tour.

Is there much walking and hiking?

For the Classic Zipline Tour - there are shorter, moderate hikes equivalent to hiking 4 flights of stairs.

For the Extreme Zipline Tour there are  steeper, more challenging hikes similar to climbing 10 flights of stairs.

Can I go if pregnant or have health problems?

If you are pregnant, you will not be permitted to go ziplining. Pregnant women, people with heart, leg, or spinal problems, or other serious illnesses will not be allowed to participate in the tour.

As for health problems, we require average mobility. If you can handle at least shorter, moderate hikes similar to ascending 4 flights of stairs, the Classic Zipline Tour is a good option for you.

Do I need to have a reservation?

No, but reservations are always recommended. We limit our group size to 8 participants per departure every 30 minutes. This enables us to provide you with the best possible experience. If you do not have a reservation, we will always do our best to accommodate you based upon our availability.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?

We get it. Plans change and life happens. We've created a Worry Free Cancellation Plan so you can get your money back or experience a raft trip on another date.

What if we miss our reservation time?

Guests are required to arrive at least 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Refunds will not be issued for late arrivals. If you fail to meet your departure time, we still incur all of the same expenses, and may have turned others away from our tours to accommodate your group. Given the circumstances we do not refund no-shows the day of the trip.

What if I am afraid of heights?

It is not uncommon to have a fear of heights. Many people that have a fear of heights are easily able to enjoy our zip line tour.
